<HOW TO
"GET INVOLVED
">

There are many ways you can get involved with Sociable, we welcome anyone aged 16 or over to join our project, to become a volunteer, you must be at least 18 years old

The easiest way to get involved is to join our project at The Ark. Our project will re-open in Autum 2023 when we will be meeting most Tuesday's from 6pm.

Our Tuesday Social evenings are where we can come together and make new friends.

Our vision is to create a project that can support people to become more active and participate in an activity that can help reduce social isolation and have a positive impact on the wellbeing of all individuals involved.

We can also provide practical work experinece for individuals looking to improve their skills and knowledge, that maybe looking for a role within the creative industries or journalism.

Partnership Opportunities

We are also looking to work in partnership with other disablility organisations, location is not an issue. If you're based in Liverpool or nearby, we would be happy to arrange a meeting to discuss how we can work together. For organisations that are not local to Liverpool, we welcome your interest and actively encourage you to get in touch.

Ways to get involved..

Sociable Magazine

We are looking for people to write for our magazine and also help with production, from design to content creation.

Podcast

If you'd like to get involved with our podcast, we have opportunities for people to host, co-host and produce our podcast.

The Ark

Since we opened our project at The Ark we have had some awesome times and activities over the years.  From activities such as arts and craft, drama, board games, drumming sessions and cookery sessions there have been lots of different activities.

It is a place where you can come along and make new friends, there will never been any pressure to participate in an activity, if you just want to relax with a brew and some cake and catch up with friends, then that is completely fine with us.

We also enjoy our social evenings, from having a pub night or meeting in a coffee shop to ten-pin bowling and group meals together. These have been some of our best times.
